In Bangladesh flight tourism is currently on the rise. it’s also a breeze to do Domestic flights are often used by businesspeople, middle-class, and upper-class persons.
This is a very basic requirement. Flights within a country do not necessitate a passport or visa.
In order to board a domestic flight, all you need is a valid National Identification Card (NID) or birth certificate (child or infant).
Typically, only a name and a birth date are required to purchase a domestic flight.

However, you will still need a government-issued form of identification in order to board a domestic aircraft; a passport is not required. There are some airlines that will let you fly with two forms of identification as long as they match the name and birth date on your reservation.

You can book domestic air ticket by two following ways-
1. Book yourself:
When you order a domestic ticket on your own, all you need to do is enter your name and date of birth. Then proceed.
Domestic tickets can be purchased with master cards, visa cards, or even with the use of fintech like bkash.
2. Book through a Travel agent:
Simply provide the travel agency with your full legal name and birth date. There is no need for any other details.
As you may already know, NID is only available to legal adults. How can you reserve seats for a baby or a young child?
- The age range for “infant” is 0-2 years.
- A child is somebody between the ages of 2 and 12.
- If you’re over the age of 12, you’re an adult.
Having a passport is helpful if you are traveling with a child (2-12 years old) or an infant (0-2 years old). Your child’s birth certificate will suffice as travel documentation in place of a passport if you are unable to obtain one. A birth certificate is issued to each and every kid and newborn. If you know the individual’s name from their birth certificate, you can move forward.

The price range for domestic flights:
Prices range from 2000 to 4000 BDT depending on where you want to go.
Such as, the price from Dhaka to Chittagong is less than that of Cox’s Bazar.
