1.Hiran Point/হিরণ পয়েন্ট:
Hiran Point is a protected area situated on the Pramatta Kunga River banks in the Khulna range in the southern Sundarbans, the world’s largest mangrove forest. Neelkamal is another name for Hiran Point, a UNESCO-designated world heritage site. In Khulna, it is a popular destination.

Daily travel fees for students in sanctuary regions are 30 taka (0.36 dollars), 150 taka for ordinary domestic tourists, and 1,500 taka for foreign tourists.
Travel costs for the Forest Department include a guide fee of Tk. 500 per day, a security guard fee of Tk. 300, a launch crew fee of Tk. 70, and a communication fee of Tk. 200.
During Ras Purnima, pilgrims in Sundarbans have to pay Tk 70 per person for three days. The fee for a registered trawler is Tk. 200, the fee for an unregistered trawler is Tk. 800, and the fee for a trawler (for a daily stay) is Tk. 200.

Where shall we stay at Hiron Point?
Kachikhali at Tiger Point in Sundarbans, Neelkamal at Hiran Point, and the Forest Department’s Resthouse in Katka offer lodging options. Domestic tourists would pay Tk 3000 each room at Neelkamal, while foreigners will pay Tk 5000 per room.
Kachikhali would cost Tk 3000 per room and Rs 5000 for international guests. In Katka, the lodging rates will be identical to those listed above: Tk 3,000 for locals and Tk 5,000 for visitors.
2. Sundarban/সুন্দরবন
Sundarbans sections in Bangladesh include Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Patuakhali, and Barguna. In 1997, the Sundarbans were designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Sundarban is the largest mangrove forest or saline forest in the world, and its name is a natural wonder. Approximately 10,000 square kilometers of the Sundarbans are located in Bangladesh, while the remaining area is in India.
The Sundarbans will also be known as the Museum of Organisms and Plants due to its high biodiversity. The Sundarbans are comprised of a 1,874-square-kilometer expanse of rivers and estuaries.
Over 350 species of plants, 120 species of fish, 270 species of birds, 42 species of animals, 35 species of reptiles, and eight ostriches reside in the Sundarbans.
There are over 120 fish species and over 100 bird species in the region. The lovely tree inspired the forest’s name, Sundarbans. Only by boat is it possible to reach the Sundarbans. Winter is the optimal travel season.

The daily travel price for domestic tourists in sanctuary regions is Tk 150, while for students it is Tk 30. The daily travel fee for international tourists is Tk 1500. The travel cost for domestic visitors outside the sanctuary is Tk. 70, for students it is Tk. 20, for foreigners it is Tk. 1000, and for researchers it is Tk. The travel cost in Karmjal is Tk 20 per person for domestic tourists and Tk 300 for foreigners.

3. Rabindranath Tagore’s Father-in-law’s Home
Dokkhindihi, a village in the Phultala Upazila, is only 19 kilometers from Khulna, the capital of the division. Roy House and Rabindranath Tagore’s in-laws’ home are located in the village of Dokkhindihi.
Rabindranath Tagore’s in-laws (Father-In-House Law’s of Rabindranath) are currently referred to as the Rabindra Complex. Rabindra Complex is a significant and well-known location in Khulna.

4. Katka Beach/কটকা সমুদ্র সৈকত
Katka is one of the most diversified locations in the Sundarban mangrove forest and is located around 90 kilometers north of the Mongla port. In the city of Khulna, this is a must-see attraction. Jamtala beach is the name given to Katka beach by locals. The desolate and pristine beach is covered with the crab’s artwork. Kochikhali beach and Katka beach merge eastwards.
In Katka, there is a tower that offers spectacular views of the natural splendor of the Sundarbans. The Kataka Watch Tower is situated due north of the Kataka Beach. Due to unknown smugglers, it is quite dangerous to enter the sea at this beach, where the size of the waves is quite changeable.
The major means of access to Katka is by ship. The Katka Khal is where the tourist vessel is anchored. The brick-and-mortar road can be found a short distance west of the Katka Forestry Department.
Thus, a beautiful, undeveloped beach is created. Sunsets are best viewed from Katka beach.

5. Padmabeel of Bhutia/ভূতিয়ার পদ্মবিল
Padmabeel (Bhutia Padma Beel) is located in Terkhada Upazila within the district of Khulna. This Padma Beel is like to nirvana for nature enthusiasts.
The beel is blanketed in thousands of lotus flowers. This delightful moment is a magical antidote to the exhaustion of civic engagement.
Bhutia, a Padmabil-adhering village, exemplifies the rare beauty of Bengal’s landscape, which is rarely seen elsewhere. The optimum time to view lotus blossoms is between 6 am and 6.30 am.
Because as the evening progresses, the petals of the lotus begin to close. The best time to see Padmabill in Bhutia is between September and October.
How ot get to Padmabeel?
If you wish to view the Padma Beel of Bhutia, you must first visit Khulna district city. Terkhada Bazar is around 18 kilometers from Khulna and may be reached via bus or CNG.
6.Putney Dwip/পুটনী দ্বীপ
Putney dwip or Putney Island is the name of an island located in the beautiful scenery of the Khulna district. Residents refer to the area as Islandchar. There is a sea on the horizon and dense forests on the opposite side of Putni Island, which is surrounded on one side by a green grass wildness and zigzag canals.
In one word, Putney Island is fantastic. As the tide rises, the entire region floats — the late-afternoon sunset in the Arpangasia river and the mohona of the Bay of Bengal, for example.
A deer and fish sanctuary exists in Putney. However, a large number of nearby residents travel to Putney Island to harvest crabs. It is known that there is no tiger infestation on the island, despite the presence of deer and fish in its forests and waterways.
How to arrive at Putney Dwip
You must obtain permission from the forest department to visit Putney Island. In this instance, you can contact the forest department office at Mongla or the forest department office in Hiron Point to request permission.
7. Bangabandhu Island/বঙ্গবন্ধু আইল্যান্ড
Bangabandhu is an ideal location for experiencing natural beauty. Bangabandhu Island, also known as Bongobondhu Dwip, is situated in the Bay of Bengal between Hiran Point and Dubalar Char, approximately 10 kilometers from Dubalar Char in the Mongla Upazila Khulna district.
The char covers a region of roughly 10 square kilometers that is around 2 meters above sea level. Local fishermen in the area discovered Bangabandhu Island while fishing, however there was no information regarding the discovery of char.
Malek Farazi, a supporter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, came on the island in 1992 with two companions and subsequently named it Bangabandhu Island.
The Bangabandhu char bird species encounter the chamuchtunto batan and Eurasian oysters. Hopefully, the Irrawaddy dolphin will be spotted in the river where char reside. 8.Shahid Hadis Park/শহীদ হাদিস পার্ক
Shahid Hadis Park is a historical park located on Babukhan Road in Khulna, which was established in 1884 but afterwards renamed after Shaheed Sheikh Hadithur Rahman Babu on February 21, 1969.
In imitation of the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka, a martyr’s minar was created in Shahid Hadis Park. A lake can be seen in Hadith Park. On the lake were constructed Shaheed Minar and water fountains.
From the observation tower constructed in Shaheed Hadith Park, the city of Khulna can also be seen.
The park was renamed Jinnah Park at a reception for Muslim League leaders on August 14, 1947, following the country’s partition. Sheikh Hadithur Rahman Babu was executed by police outside the park on February 21, 1969, during an anti-Pakistani dictatorship rally.
On February 22, after the burial prayer for the Martyrs’ Hadith, the mob renamed the area “SShahid Hadis Park.”
9. Karamjal Tourist Spot/করমজল পর্যটন কেন্দ্র
Khulna City is home to numerous attractive locations. On the banks of the Poshur River in Sundarbans is the Karamjal tourist attraction. The tourism destination has been established on 30 hectares of land eight kilometers from the Mongla port under the supervision of the forest department.
If you want to explore the Sundarbans in a single day, Karamjal is the best location. Animals, like crocodiles, deer, and rhesus monkeys, contribute to the beauty of nature.
In Sundarban, Karmajal is a must-see location. Karamjol, a forest-dwelling ranger station that also grows deer, is visited by tens of thousands of tourists annually. Karamjol is one of the entrances to Sundarban, a magnificent natural preserve.
The town of Karamjol offers guided tours. 1966 saw the proclamation of Sundarban as a wildlife sanctuary, prohibiting all forms of hunting in the region.
Before traveling to Karamjol, visitors to Karamjol and Sundarban who wish to view the breathtaking wildlife of Bangladesh must obtain permission from the Forest Officer and be vaccinated against Cholera. Also recommended for the trip are a medical kit, anti-diarrheal medication, and anti-malarial medication.
Sundarban Wildlife Sanctuary escorted trips may be scheduled from Karamjol. The 38,500 square kilometers of Sundarban were declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1966; consequently, hunting in this area is absolutely restricted and illegal.

10. Shiromoni
Shiromani is an additional location associated with Khulna’s valor during the liberation war. Although Bangladesh achieved independence on 16 December 1971, Khulna achieved independence a day later on the same date.
The Battle of Shiromoni (13–17 December 1971) was fought during the Bangladesh Liberation War and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 between the Pakistan Army and the combined Bangladesh and Indian Army forces. This was one of the final fights of the Bangladesh Liberation War, which lasted until December 17, 1971, despite the fact that the commander of the Pakistani forces in Bangladesh had already surrendered on December 16.
Khulna Shiromani holds a unique place in the world’s history as a place where strategic victories have been achieved. This location features a memorial.
11. Gallamari
Gallamari is another location with terrible recollections of the liberation war’s atrocities. This gallamari is situated on the Mayur River near Khulna University.
At Gallamari fifty-one years ago, the Pakistani military ruthlessly slaughtered a large number of freedom fighters and liberation supporters from the region. At the time, there was no Khulna-Satkhira road in Gallamari, which was located 3 kilometers from the city of Khulna.
Thousands of innocent people were slaughtered here by Pakistani soldiers and their local allies, the Razakar-Albadar forces, during the war of liberation. Five trucks containing human skulls and bones were discovered along the Gallamari canal following the liberation of Khulna city.
Approximately 15,000 people died in Gallamari, according to various reports. Human cadavers, skulls, and bones were scattered around the area.
12. Bakultala (Deputy Commissioner’s Bungalow)
The residence of the Deputy Commissioner of Khulna is reminiscent of the Bengali author Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay, whose name is synonymous with the term “novelist.” When he was the Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector of Khulna in 180-184, he resided in this home. Kapalakundla, the poet’s first love novel in Bengali literature, was composed while he sat on the ground floor of this bungalow on the banks of the river Bhairab.

In Khulna, on the banks of the Rupsha river, is the residence of the Deputy Commissioner. With the Deputy Commissioner’s graciousness, the visit is permitted at any time.
13. Raruli-Katipara
Place of birth of the world-renowned scientist Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy (P, C, Roy). Sir P.C. landed in Raruli on the banks of the Kapotaksha River in the Paikgachha upazila of Khulna on 2 August 1821. Roy was created.
Roy was a scientist, philosopher, and artist simultaneously. The sense of humanity inherent in social improvement encouraged him. For the economic advancement of rural people, he developed the cooperative banking system at that time. 1909 Saliniz’s birthplace saw the establishment of a cooperative bank. Sir P. C. Roy founded the first R. K. B. Kehrish Chandra educational institution in South Bengal in 1903, naming it for four villages.

14. Pithavoge Rabindra Memorial Complex
Rabindranath Tagore is honored at a memorial complex in Khulna. It was the Bangladeshi home of his ancestors.
It is situated in Pithabhog village, Rupsha upazila, Khulna district. The Khulna Regional Archaeological Department discovered the foundation stone of Vita, Rabindranath’s predecessor, in the village of Pithabhog after an experimental excavation. The poet’s bust has been placed in this location. Every year, this location commemorates Rabindra’s birthday.

15. Dakshindihi
Memory of the poet Rabindranath Tagore is linked with Dakshindihi. Shantagram Dakshindihi is heavily packed by flowers, fruits, and other trees.
The poet and his mother frequently visited his uncle’s home in the village of Dakshindihi throughout his youth. Here are erected busts of the poet and his wife. On the 25th of Baishakh and the 22nd of Shravan, numerous celebrations are held for Rabindra Jayanti and Poetry Day.
The Fultala upazila lies 19 kilometers northwest of Khulna city. Upazila Sadar is located three kilometers to the north-west of South Dehigram. A two-story structure erected in remembrance of Rabindra-Mrinalini lies in the center of the community. This is Rabindranath Tagore’s father-in-residence. law’s
South Dihi has strong ties to the renowned Tagore family of Jor Sanko in Kolkata. In this village of Dakshindihi, Rabindranath Tagore’s Masarda Sundari Devi was born.
The daughter of this village is Rabindranath’s aunt Tripura Sundari Devi. Mrinalini Devi is the daughter of Dakshin Dihir and is Rabindranath’s wife. Her given name is Bhavatarini, but she was re – named Mrinalini Devi after her marriage.
16. Rupsha Khan Jahan Ali Shetu
On the Rupsa River in Jibananda, the more popular Khan Jahan Ali Bridge was constructed than the rupsa bridge. Through Rupsa Bridge, all southern districts and the Mongla port are connected by road to the city of Khulna, making it the city’s entryway.
The Rupsa bridge measures 1.60 kilometers in length. The bridge features designated travel lanes for pedestrians and automobiles. To ascend the main bridge, there are additional four steps at either end.
On the riverbanks at the western end of the bridge, visitors are constantly crowded. The nighttime view of the city of Khulna from the bridge’s peak is the most stunning.
