Bio of Prof. Dr. S.M.G. Kibria

Prof. Dr. S.M.G. Kibria is well-known throughout Dhaka for his work as a Laparoscopic Surgery specialist in dealing with the inside of the abdomen (tummy) and pelvis without having to make large incisions in the skin. Because of his work as a Laparoscopic Surgery specialist, the people in this area have a very high trust for him.

His medical academic achievements include 38 years of experience in General, Vascular and laparoscopic Surgery in the UK and obtained his complete British training in London, Leeds, Hull, Bristol, Gloucester and Bath. After spending 20 years in medical school and residency programs, he is now practicing as a Consultant General, Vascular, and laparoscopic Surgery in the United Kingdom. S.M.G. Kibria has taught at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Medicine and serves as an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom.
