Are you a big eater?
Are you looking for a buffet in Dhaka?
Buffets are available to satisfy your needs whether you’re a large eater or have a voracious appetite.
Bangladesh first introduced restaurant buffets in early 2010. The country’s first oriental buffet was at Steak House. Since Steak House closed, several buffet restaurants have opened.
Buffets were popular, lost appeal, and are currently on the verge of regaining popularity.
Even though the Steak House buffet is no longer accessible and would have definitely made it onto our list of the finest buffets in Dhaka, there are still several restaurants in the city that offer top-notch buffets, and we’ve got you covered with those suggestions.
In order to compile this list, we considered not only the prices of the things but also their quality, distinctiveness, and level of service.
Best Buffet Restaurants in Dhaka city
01. The Cafe Rio, Dhanmondi
Looking for a buffet restaurant in Dhaka?
I Think The Cafe Rio, Dhanmondi is the best. Also have branch in Uttara.
Restaurants with buffets are particularly common in the Dhanmondi district. In Dhanmondi, you may find any kind of restaurant, from five-star places with expensive buffets to places with buffets that are kind to your wallet.
Cafe Rio is one of Dhanmondi’s most popular and well-known buffet restaurants that is inexpensive. For just 850 BDT, you may have more than 100 different meals at The Cafe Rio’s Dhanmondi Zigatoli Branch for lunch and more than 105 different items for dinner.

2.Taj e Nawab | Best for birthday parties
If you’re a fan of Mughlai cuisine and want more choices, here’s another Indian buffet. As the name suggests, Taj e Nawab is devoted to serving authentic Bangladeshi cuisine for all of your important occasions.
Although not many people outside of Wari will have heard of Taj-E-Nawaab, it is consistently busy and popular among the locals.
There are birthday parties here almost every day since the vast rooms are ideal for hosting many guests. Wedding receptions are also prevalent due to the presence of a stage for live music.
Diners will have to make a difficult choice between the restaurant’s 40-plus menu items, including such favorites as Karahi gosht, Hyderabadi biriyani, and exquisite shahi tukra. The decor of the restaurant will be reminiscent of the Mughal era to further enhance the regal atmosphere. The 850 BDT per person price tag for the Taj e nawab’s extensive buffet is really fair.

3. Le-Meridian: Expensive buffet
Looking for a 5-star buffet?
This is exactly what Le Méridien Dhaka brings to the table: a 5-star buffet that has everything. Some of the best high-end dining in Dhaka can be found at this restaurant.
It’s interesting that their buffet has no set menu. Instead, it includes themes like as pan Asian, continental, fusion, and others. Each theme delivers exclusive cuisine that are only available to guests at Le Méridien Dhaka. Due to the restaurant’s minimum per-person charge of 5590 BDT, the price is on the higher side. On a few cards, though, there are year-round buy one, get one deals.
Consistency in the caliber of the meal is one thing you can count on, and their desserts are fantastic in general.
The koral fish, which is prepared when you want to eat it, is something that you should try without a hesitation.

04. Garlic n Ginger
Located in a less-than-stellar part of Dhanmondi and Gulshan, Garlic n Ginger has a fantastic buffet with more than a hundred different options, but it is still relatively unknown. The buffet features sushi and salads like at the Le-Meridian, but the nihari is what really sets this place distinct.
Crispy luchis are a perfect complement to the flavorful sauce.
In contrast to other buffets, where you have to pay extra for water because it isn’t provided, here you get a bottle of water and a soft drink of your choosing.
However, the Chinese dishes had an unpleasant level of heat, and the desserts, particularly those made with milk like shahi tukra, smelled and tasted as though they were going bad. This brought a sour note to an otherwise spectacular spread.
The buffet here provides great value for the price at Tk 1,200, thanks to the wide selection of dishes and, of course, the nihari, and we are unable to help but recommend it wholeheartedly. And who knows, you might just get lucky with the Chinese items and desserts!

05. The Buffet Stories: value for money
The Buffet Stories provides excellent value for the money and has locations in both Mirpur 11 and Dhanmondi 2 in the city.
A buffet with 65 different options can be had for just Tk 750, and this price already includes VAT and any other applicable fees.
The fact that they allow free access to water as well as a soft drink of your choosing is an added bonus.
You will be provided with an incredible variety of dishes, ranging from Deshi to Chinese, as well as a good selection of sweets to choose from.
The products from the live kebab station, which are brought to your table in a timely manner, and the beef rezala are among the highlights of the meal.
Because the place can get quite crowded in a short amount of time, even during this pandemic, we strongly advise you to phone them as soon as possible and reserve a spot for yourself.
The only negatives to the place and the cuisine were the large number of people and the constant activity caused by the low cost of the buffet. Other than that, there were no other issues.

06. The Great Kabab Factory | Best buffet offer
The service at the Great Kabab Factory is second to none, and the cuisine is excellent as well.
This is a buffet you won’t want to miss if you’re in the Gulshan 2 or Dhanmondi areas of Dhaka.
Don’t be fooled by the name; the buffet has more than 75 options, many of which are not vegetarian.
Appetizers like aloo papdi chaat or masaledar aloo are served as a prelude to the main courses.
In particular, the chicken dishes are delicious since they are tender, juicy, and seasoned just perfectly.
You’ll get nine different kinds of naan, from the standard butter and garlic naan to the more exotic Amritsari kulcha and Khammiri naan, and they all complement the meat dishes magnificently.
Even if you’re already very full, it’s time for the main course, which includes delicious prawn and mutton items in addition to some fantastic Hyderabadi biryani.
These entrées change daily, but you can count on the same high quality and consistency.

8. The Buffet King
The Bashundhara R/A neighborhood is home to The Buffet King. This restaurant, like many others in the area, specialized in local and Indian cuisine in order to satisfy the preferences of the greater Bengali population. The appetizer features traditional Chinese foods such as spring rolls, wontons, numerous types of soups, and other similar dishes.
The flavor of each and every item that is prepared here is superb, just like it would be if your mother made it for you at home. The dory fish and the fried rice are two of the most noteworthy main courses that you should order.

10. Platinum Club
Platinum Club is yet another fantastic low-cost buffet location, and it can be found in Dhanmondi. Beautiful interior design is a wonderful compliment to their extensive inventory of more than sixty things. The menu focuses primarily on dishes from pan-Indian, Chinese, and Bengali cuisines.
The employees always act in an exemplary manner, and they never take more than a moment to replenish the supplies. Customers can satiate their appetites with dishes such as mutton rezala and shrimp curry, two of the restaurant’s most highly regarded dishes. The range of Chinese sweets and the Chinese appetizers are also not to be missed at this buffet. The price of the lunch buffet at the Platinum Club is 550 BDT for each diner.
