Founder and Employees

Mr. Nurul Islam started the Noman Group. It sends about $1 billion worth of textiles and clothing around the world every year and employs about 70,000 people. Noman Group makes yarns, fabrics, home textiles, bed covers, curtains, comforters, quilt covers, denim, and towels. Noman Group sells goods to countries in the European Union, the United States, Japan, and Asia.

Products and Factories:

In 2011, Noman Group established six new textile units, bringing the total number of plants run by the company to 19, with an estimated 40,000 workers. They have a research and development center, a chemical laboratory, and a supply chain for additional components, in addition to a manufacturing facility for spinning, weaving, processing, washing, dying, printing, and sewing. Monthly output for the Noman group is 7,500 tons of yarn, 21 million meters of textiles, 3.6 million meters of denim, 90,000,000 terry towels, 400,000 tops, and 1,000,000 bottoms. Noman established a towel manufacture in 2012. The business had 28 operational plants by 2015, with plans for five more.
