Product Description:
Functions of This Product
The TL-WR940N is a wireless N router with a network connection capability of 450Mbps. It is designed to cater to the networking needs of small businesses and home offices. The TL-WR940N utilizes MIMO Technology to deliver exceptional and advanced wireless performance, making it an ideal choice for activities such as streaming HD video, VoIP, and online gaming. Additionally, the WPS button located on the stylish and sophisticated exterior of the device guarantees the implementation of WPA2 encryptions, effectively safeguarding the network against potential external intrusions.
Range & Speed of Wireless N
The TL-WR940N is capable of establishing a wireless network and delivering significantly enhanced speed and range compared to standard 11g products. It is designed in accordance with the IEEE 802.11n standard. Furthermore, it showcases enhanced capabilities in effectively mitigating data loss across extensive distances and in the presence of obstacles within various settings, such as small office spaces or expansive apartments. This includes scenarios involving structures constructed with steel and concrete, as it maintains transmission rates of up to 450Mbps. In contrast to legacy 11g devices, it is now possible to easily detect wireless networks during long-distance connections.
Improved wireless performance.
The router provides more than enough throughput for use with even the most bandwidth-intensive programs, including voice over IP (VoIP), high-definition (HD) streaming, and online gaming. In addition to transforming your entire home and yard into a one massive hotspot, the router’s powerful N technologies also allow it to minimize data loss over long distances and through obstructions.
WPA / WPA2 Encryptions
The WPA/WPA2 encryption standards provide a secure wireless connection by safeguarding it against unauthorized access.
WPS
Pressing the “WPS” button will immediately set up WiFi connections.
Easy Setup
You may quickly and simply become ‘online’ by either using the enhanced user interface and setup wizard or the CD’s (included) setup wizard.
