Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College & Hospital in Dhaka.
The Ummah Medical College opened in Mirpur, Dhaka, in 1994-95. It moved to this site in 1998 and became Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College and Hospital.
The Moulana Bhasani Trust renamed it Moulana Bhasani Medical College in 2002. Former Moulana Bhasani Trust chairman inaugurated the college’s new home in October 2007. Dr. Jamal Uddin Chowdhury was elected Chairman of the Moulana Bhasani Trust in February 2009, followed by Mrs. Laila Arjumand and Dr. Jamal Uddin Chowdhury as Chairman of Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College. On April 3, 2010, the institution was renamed Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College in the presence of the Moulana Bhasani Trusts Chairman.
SMAMCH is equipped with modern instruments and technologies facilities and offers round the clock services including emergencies for indoor and outdoor patients.
It is our mission that the graduates of Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College & Hospital will serve the ailing humanity all over world, by prevailing in the medical field and bring glory to their motherland.
