The National Institute of Cardiovascular Disorders (NICVD) is a state-of-the-art facility in Bangladesh dedicated to the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The institute was founded in 1978 with the mission of creating advanced cardiovascular care services in the country and training qualified cardiovascular care personnel to meet the country’s needs.
In July 1982, this Institute began offering postgraduate medical training for doctors, in addition to providing excellent cardiac patient care. These doctors are now delivering specialized cardiac care services in different government and non-government hospitals in Bangladesh and overseas.
This institute has experience offering nurse training programs (CCU, ICU, Cath Lab, OT) as well as training for various supporting technologists. We also provide training to non-government doctors so that they can better serve the community.
